Manchiki Maro Peru


Manchiki Maro Peru is a 1976 Telugu Action drama film, produced by M. Manohar under the Sree Ramakrishna Films banner and directed by C. S. Rao. It stars N. T. Rama Rao, Krishnam Raju, Padmapriya in the lead roles and music composed by S. Rajeswara Rao.

Plot

Jayanth is a truthful and honest gentleman. Under his guidance, his close friends Ravi, Chandrika and younger brother Kiran become Policeman, Lawyer, and Journalist respectively. Jayanth works as a security officer in a temple, which is headed by trustee Ramadasu whose younger brother Bhujangam is a huge gangster and smuggles the idols of Indian Gods. Bhushaiah & Seshayya are his partners. Ravi is the son of Bhushiah and Sheshiah's daughter is Dr. Neelima is Jayanth's love interest. Ravi & Chandrika also each other. Meanwhile, Jayanth identifies the fraudulence taking place in the temple but on request of Ramadasu maintains silence and makes resigns. Thereafter, Jayanth joins trade union leader at Bhujangam's factory where too, he fights for the welfare of the workers and develops enmity with the management. On the other side, Kiran brings out all the atrocities in the factory through his news articles. So, Bhujangam deceits Jayanth by indicting him and sends jail. In jail, he gets acquainted with a goon Gangulu and both of them become friends when Jayanth understands that tit for tat is the only way to teach a lesson to this society. Parallelly, Ravi, Kiran, Chandrika, and Neelima prove the innocence of Jayanth and get him released. At the same time, Bhujangam blasts the Kiran's press in which Jayanth's sister dies. Here Jayanth decides to take revenge against society, so, he joins with Gangulu and becomes a gangster. Meanwhile, Ravi & Kiran suspect and chases him. Surprisingly, at last, Gangulu turns as CID officer Anand Mohan, who has planned with Jayanth to eradicate the scandals in the country. They also find out that the real head of the gang is Ramadasu. Finally, Jayanth catches all the criminals and establishes peace in society.
